We’ve been keeping track of the gradual reopening of Walt Disney World since the parks originally opened back up last year.
And, while many rides, restaurants, and hotels have reopened, there are still quite a few that we’re waiting to experience again. But, we’ve got an update on a fan-favorite restaurant that will finally be reopening!
Disney announced today that ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will reopen to guests this summer on July 9th and feature an all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner option.
At breakfast, guests can enjoy pineapple-coconut breakfast bread, Stitch and Mickey waffles, and breakfast skillets with ham, sausage, and breakfast potatoes.
For dinner, there will be platters of grilled beef steak, roasted chicken, sausage, and island shrimp casserole served with fried rice and roasted broccolini, and, (of course) ‘Ohana pot stickers, crispy soy chicken wings, and the signature ‘Ohana bread pudding. Plus, the musical entertainment for guests at dinner will be back as well.
But, there is one notable dish missing from the dinner menu — the very popular ‘Ohana Noodles. Now, Disney does change the menu from time to time leading up to a restaurant reopening so this doesn’t mean that they’re gone for good, but we will definitely keep an eye out for their return!
Reservations open on June 10th, so you won’t have to wait too long to get back to enjoying some tropical eats if you’re visiting soon. And, stay tuned for more Disney World reopening news and updates!
