Looking for a new resort option during your next Disney trip? Maybe you should give the upcoming Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista a look!

Set to open by the Spring of 2021, this new hotel doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the Riviera Resort, but it might just be the perfect place to rest your head during your next Disney vacation.
The new hotel will be located “just steps away” from Disney Springs, and offer transportation to all four parks, as well as unspecified other surrounding attractions.
When it’s completed by the end of 2021, the hotel will feature 604 rooms, as well as 12,000 square feet (1,114.84 m²) of meeting space for conventions and business events. It’ll also provide a suite of complimentary services, including Wi-Fi, a daily reception with appetizers and drinks, and 24-hour business and fitness centers. The best part though? Free hot breakfast, including pancakes! Complimentary food is practically unheard-of at Walt Disney World Resorts, and while it might not feature special characters or a world-class dining experience, the fact that it’s included free with your stay makes this one appealing option. If you’re looking to stay on property but want to save some dough, Drury Plaza might quickly become one of the most appealing options.
The Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista will begin operating at a limited capacity in Spring of 2021, with it being completed by the end of the year. You can learn more at druryhotels.com. It’s replacing the previous occupant of the property, Best Western Lake Buena Vista.

We stayed at the Best Western back in the late 80’s. On property rooms were limited back then. I remember the busses had different colored flags painted on them to tell you where they went.
