Following a successful run last year, the stage show Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! will return to Epcot this summer, from June 14 to August 18, 2019.
The all-ages show is a 20-minute live concert featuring music from the 1970s and ’80s, as featured in the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
The show’s storyline has Peter Quill — also known as Star-Lord — bringing an outreach program to his home planet, Earth, with the goal of sharing Xandar’s rich heritage and culture. Since Epcot already is a place with a similar mission — celebrating all of Earth’s cultures — that’s where the outreach program with Star-Lord, Gamora, little Groot, and a 7-piece alien band makes its home.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! will be performed five times each day on the America Gardens Theatre stage in Epcot’s World Showcase.
