Our Jaws Are On the FLOOR After Seeing This Magic Kingdom Parade Change!

One of the most magical experiences that you can find in Magic Kingdom right now, in our opinion, is the Disney Starlight parade.

We went so many years without a nighttime parade in Disney World, and now that we finally have one again, we find ourselves mesmerized and smiling widely every time we see it. However, there was one part of the concept art that we’ve been curious about since it wasn’t in the parade itself. That is, until now, because a HUGE change has happened, and we’re FREAKING out!

In the original concept art of Disney Starlight, Peter Pan and Wendy were seen flying on the float. Now, we wondered if this was just for extra magic on the drawing, or if it was something Disney actually wanted to accomplish when the parade debuted. However, when it premiered early on July 18th, 2025, Peter Pan and Wendy looked lovely on their gorgeous float, but there was no flying. Months passed, and when it still didn’t happen, we started to think it wasn’t going to be in the cards.

However, that’s all CHANGED, because last night, for the VERY first time, Peter Pan and Wendy flew in the parade! We saw this video and our jaws DROPPED — we can’t believe the concept art is finally coming to life!

They look amazing, flying above the float, but we do have to admit that part of us is thinking about how dizzy they may be! It’s likely they don’t fly for the entire duration of the parade, but only for a bit at a time, so that many people around the parade route can see the magical moment of them taking flight from the ground.

We can’t wait for more guests to see this incredible feat, especially as summer approaches and more families are taking vacations together.
