REVIEW: 2 New Starbucks Drinks That Have Us Questioning Our Go-To Orders

While we love Disney World treats, there’s something so special about getting our Starbucks drinks in front of the castle.

All four parks, plus Disney Springs, all have a Starbucks location, but they might be under different names! In Magic Kingdom, it’s called the Main Street Bakery, but you’ll find favorites that are perfect when you need something familiar during your vacation. New menu items just hit Starbucks, and we’re trying them out in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

We started with the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha for $6.75.

We really enjoyed this! It was very creamy and less earthy than we were expecting for a matcha drink. Most of the chocolate stuck to the top of the lid, and we wish more had made it into the drink, but the flavors blended well with the matcha. It was fairly sweet for a matcha drink, and if you’ve been wanting to try matcha, this can be a great introductory drink.

Then we had the Caramel Protein Latte for $7.45.

This one, well, wasn’t a favorite. It had a very heavy coffee flavor with a very light hint of cream. The protein flavor comes through like a protein powder, where it’s a bit chalky and a bit dry, but there was a strong espresso flavor that came through. The ice melted very fast in this one and watered it down. We think next time, we would try it with extra pumps of caramel or even a different flavor added in.
