The day is almost here when the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Destiny, sets sail for the first time. The ship’s first sail date is on November 20th, and we are so excited!

The brand-new ship has a theme that’s never been seen before on a Disney cruise — heroes and villains! Aboard this ship, you’ll run into many of our favorite characters from Disney to Marvel. We got a chance to get an early look at the Disney Destiny, and we had to show you everything that we saw! One thing that needs to be talked about is this somewhat secret coffee bar. If you love coffee, we may have found your new go-to hangout aboard the Disney Destiny!
It’s time to step into Cafe Megara — the cafe inspired by the iconic Disney animated movie Hercules. We seriously fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it! The whole cafe has striking details. Right at the front, you’ll see a design inspired by the Mount Olympus Gate, along with an emblem with Meg on it.

You can see on the ceiling that the place is lit up by lightning bolt lights. There’s also a Hercules medallion on the back of the marquee, along with a couple of places to sit.

The wall has a nice cloud design — can you find Pegasus hidden in the clouds? We love the beautiful mosaic of the iconic scene when Meg sings “I Won’t Say I’m In Love”. There’s also a pink and white vase with Meg’s face on it right in front of the mosaic.

Everywhere that there can be detail, there is detail! On the back of the bar chairs, you’ll find vases with the faces of Meg, Hercules, and the muses.

The walls are covered in beautiful sketches said to be “inspired by classic Greek architecture with a modern twist.”

Yes, Meg is on this wall too!

If you think all of this is nice, wait till you see the coffee. There is a lot to buy at the bar, but we had to get the coffee — and you’ll see why!

Take a look at our coffee with this Megara latte art — is this not extraordinary?! There’s no chance, no way, we won’t say it…

…at least out loud, we won’t say we’re in love with this place! Now that you know about this somewhat hidden spot, make sure not to pass by it when you’re aboard the Disney Destiny. For more Disney news and updates, make sure to follow us at AllEars.
