While EPCOT can be a tad overwhelming for first-time guests, seasoned visitors to Walt Disney World’s second theme park know there are plenty of hacks to make getting around the park easier and more convenient.

In the 30+ years that I’ve been visiting EPCOT, I’ve come across a lot of hacks, tips, and tricks to have the best possible day the park has to offer. These are some more (sometimes slightly obscure ones) that I — and the rest of the AllEars team — are surprised that Disney hasn’t put a stop to.
Bonus La Hacienda de San Angel Seating
Located in the middle of the Mexico Pavilion, La Hacienda de San Angel generally offers one of the most unique dining experiences in Walt Disney World.

However, what some may not know is that the restaurant is only open during dinner, beginning at 4:00 PM. Before that time, the restaurant’s seating, which gives tremendous views of the pavilion and the start of the Gran Fiesta Tour, is open for anyone to sit.

A Cool Drink in Morocco
Spice Road Table, located on the shores of the lagoon outside of the Morocco Pavilion, provides some of our favorite World Showcase eats. However, there’s also a perk located in the restaurant’s foyer that’s available to any guest, even those not eating there: Ice Water. This is some of the coldest water you’ll find at the park, and it provides a wonderful respite on a hot day.

Rope-Dropping France
EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance, located in the World Showcase just next to the French Pavilion, has been open for decades. However, it’s become much more well-known to many Disney guests with the 2019 opening of the Disney Skyliner station at the entrance. This has led to guests staying at resorts on the Skyliner loop — Art of Animation, Pop Century, the Caribbean Beach Resort, and the Riviera Resort — beginning their EPCOT day in France… and some of them choosing to stay!

Now, for many of these guests, their objective in rope-dropping France is to get to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as quickly as possible. However, that’s not the only thing drawing guests to this pavilion early. Some are beginning their EPCOT day here so they can enjoy breakfast from Les Halles.

This eatery offers some of our favorite bites, including sandwiches, quiche, croissants, and fresh-baked goods.

Skyliner Hack
Speaking of the Skyliner, this final hack counts (even though it’s technically EPCOT adjacent. Despite not technically staying on the Skyliner line, guests staying at the EPCOT resort area hotels — especially the Boardwalk — can head over to the International Gateway entrance near the France Pavilion and jump on the Skyliner to head to Hollywood Studios.

If you’re heading to EPCOT anytime soon, be sure to keep these hacks in mind when planning out your day. Stay tuned to AllEars for more tips on getting around Walt Disney World.
I Never Thought I Would Try This in EPCOT, But It Made My Day 10x Better
Which EPCOT hacks do you take advantage of? Let us know in the comments below.

La Hacienda de San Angel has views of World Showcase Lagoon (as shown in your photo). It doesn’t sit beside the beginning Grand Fiesta ride which is across the promenade from Hacienda and is inside the Mexican pavilion building, as you stated. That restaurant is the San Angel Inn.
These are not hacks. Disney let’s you know about these things. Rope drop in France…well duh.
