ALERT! Christmas Hits Magic Kingdom Overnight in Disney World!

As soon as we heard that Magic Kingdom would be decorated for Christmas, we booked park reservations and laid out Santa hats with care.

We look forward to the holidays at Disney World every year, and now that we said our final goodbyes to Halloween for the season, all we’re thinking about is candy canes, peppermints, and hot cocoa. Check out the 2025 Christmas decorations that popped up overnight in Magic Kingdom!

As we were scanning in, we saw wreaths hanging above the train station, and let us tell y’all, we were getting EXCITED! We felt like kids on Christmas morning when we saw all the rows of garland and wreaths along Main Street, U.S.A.

The large wreaths are on the lampposts, too. I love the ribbons and all the small ornaments on it.

Even the Confectionery got a Christmas makeover! Gosh, we just love the holidays at Disney World. It’s amazing how Disney can take a park we know and love and take it to the next level of magic.

As we continued walking down Main Street, our eyes were drawn to the castle, where we saw even more wreaths along the Hub area. Don’t forget to take family photos in front of the castle and make sure you get a wreath in the background.

Wait! Did we miss it? Nope! The massive Christmas tree that you see as soon as you enter under the train station isn’t up yet. We usually see all the decorations pop up before the start of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event that runs on select nights from November 7th to December 21st. It’s a fun time to enjoy Magic Kingdom after hours with exclusive entertainment, snacks, merchandise, and character meet and greets. If you love the holidays, you won’t want to miss this event, and you can buy tickets now.

During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, at the Tomorrowland Speedway, you can admire all the twinkling lights while driving! We got to see the trees on display, but the lights are usually only on for the party.

Even Storybook Circus couldn’t be left out! We love the massive candy canes standing at the entrance.
