Magic Kingdom’s Fireworks Times Are About To CHANGE

In a little over a month, we’ll be saying goodbye to spooky season in Disney World and saying hello to the holiday season.

Happily Ever After

With that comes some pretty big changes in the park: the EPCOT Festival of Holidays will start, Jollywood Nights will begin in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will kick off in Magic Kingdom. However, the decor and party aren’t the only things changing in Magic Kingdom: the nighttime fireworks will be changing, too.

On November 7th, Happily Ever After, Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks show, will be changing. This is due to the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on that date. On that night, Happily  Ever After will not happen. Instead, those with a ticket to the party will be seeing Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.

This will be the case every night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (and note that Magic Kingdom will close early, at 6 PM on those dates, too, for those without a ticket to the party). However, if you still want to see Happily Ever After, you can do so on the dates when there isn’t a party scheduled. So the regular Magic Kingdom nighttime entertainment will remain the same on those evenings.

So if you’ll be visiting Disney World on or after November 7th, you’ll want to keep these changes in mind, especially if Happily Ever After is a priority for you. This has been the case during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as well, but it’s something you may not be aware of if you were busy and focused on planning your holiday trip to the parks!
