CONFIRMED: After 5 Years, This Experience Has FINALLY Returned to EPCOT

EPCOT has sneakily brought something back, and you may have missed it!

Spaceship Earth

EPCOT finally welcomed Test Track back to the park in its new 3.0 version. It was a busy day, and we were thrilled that the fan-favorite attraction had officially reopened with an awesome retheme. However, with all the focus on Test Track, did you notice this also made a return to EPCOT after years?

If you head over to the Seas Pavilion, you’ll find that the popular Diver Lock-Out Chamber Demonstration has returned to EPCOT for the first time in five years.

Diver Lock-Out Chamber!

The chamber offers guests a unique behind-the-scenes experience to look at how divers enter the aquarium. You’ll find the presentation inside the pavilion, where divers will use the lock-out chamber. The show teaches guests how the pressurized chamber system works, allowing divers to safely transition from land to water while maintaining the delicate environment inside the tank.

The Lock-Out Chamber!

We found that the show lasted around 8 to 10 minutes. It started with the introduction of the diver, whose name was Will, and they asked for a volunteer to be his dive buddy. The Cast Members went over some hand signals with the volunteer so she could communicate with him. Then they filled it up!

It’s filling up!

The fill-up process took about 4 minutes, whereas it took 45 seconds to drain. They showed some awesome things while he was in the tube, like his regulator and oxygen tank. He even did some spins, which felt like watching one of those dolphin shows where they give hand signals for them to jump.

Hey, Will!

They also talked about plastic bags and showed how they look like jellyfish in the water, and mentioned how we should be using reusable bags instead.

This was awesome!

At the end, they drained the tank and offered an opportunity to take pics with the diver if you wanted. There were a lot of people who came to check out the newly returned experience!

The crowd

If you’re looking to check out the demonstration, there are two of them daily. One show is held at 10:30 AM, and the other at 4:00 PM. However, keep in mind that times may vary. It would be smart to check with a Cast Member inside the Seas Pavilion for the most up-to-date schedule.

Go check out the demonstration!
