Disney World Announces Pool Expansion Coming to Fort Wilderness

Summertime in Disney World is HOT beyond belief, and that means you may want to take a dip in the pool at your Disney World hotel!

There are some truly fantastic pools around the resort, and Disney recently just put out a post telling guests about some of their favorites (like Stormalong Bay and The Big Blue Pool), but in there, they snuck some new information in. As it turns out, one pool on property is getting an expansion!

Disney just sneakily announced that the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is being expanded!

The expansion will essentially double the area of the current pool. After it’s complete, the pool will feature a tennis court, two pickleball courts, and a brand-new zero-entry pool and deck area. Yes, that means a whole other pool is on the way!

As Fort Wilderness can hold a lot of guests, this will be a fantastic addition to ensure all guests have ample room to spread out and enjoy the amenities. However, there’s no timeline currently as to when this expansion will be complete, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
