During this time, hotel guests are encouraged to use the Sandcastle Pool…

or one of the hotel’s other leisure pools, including the recently refurbished Turtle Pond Pool and Miller’s Road Pool. As with the other Disney World hotels under refurbishment, you may see or hear maintenance activity during daytime hours, but there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the resort.

Over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, the Tidal Leisure Pool will be closed for routine maintenance through early May. Hotel guests may notice or hear refurbishment activity during the day, but the good news is that most resort amenities will remain open, and you can still enjoy the larger pool options during your stay.

And, at the Yacht Club resort, the Admiral leisure pool will be closed for routine maintenance expected to last through early May. You may see or hear work happening in that area during daytime hours, but the majority of the hotel (including dining and other amenities) will remain open and available. The main Stormalong Bay pool complex, shared with Disney’s Beach Club Resort, is not affected by this closure.

That’s not all — Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is also getting in on the refurbishment party. From February 9th through early March 2026, the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area will be closed for routine maintenance. The feature pool and all other amenities will stay open. Whew!
