We’re not going to lie, EPCOT is a pretty impressive theme park. So much so, that when we went to come up with ideas for this article — we had a hard time narrowing things down.
You can go diving in the Seas Pavilion aquarium, pick your own freshwater pearl in the Japan Pavilion, and even reanimate undead train passengers in the Germany Pavilion. BUT, this is definitely the most astonishing thing you can do in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT!
Over at Crown & Crest in the United Kingdom Pavilion, if you head over to the desk toward the back of the store, you’ll find a large book FULL of surnames. Here, you can have a Cast Member look up your last name — and then they’ll tell you the history of your name and show you your family coat of arms!
Just tell the Cast Member your last name and they’ll do the rest! You can even get your family coat of arms printed so you can take them home as a souvenir. You can see an example below with a familiar character we think Cast Members were having some fun with!
Not only that, but you can also get your family name history printed as well, with tons of information and images about your surname history. We think this is SUCH a unique souvenir and would even make a fantastic gift for someone! And, while there are plenty of astonishing things to do in EPCOT, we think this one takes the cake in the UK Pavilion!
