Disney World is always changing, and that means what’s open one trip when you go may not be open when you return.

Many attractions are experiencing temporary closures as they’re being refurbished, while others are closing for good to make way for new attractions and lands being built. If you’re heading to Disney World in March, keep in mind that these attractions won’t be available for you to enjoy!
Magic Kingdom
Back in January, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for its lengthy refurbishment. We know it’ll be closed all the way through 2026, but there’s no official reopening date at this time.

Astro Orbiter also closed in January and will remain closed for multiple months as it undergoes a full refurbishment. No official reopening date has been announced at this time, but we know it’s supposed to be sometime during the spring/summer of 2025.

Finally, Hall of Presidents will also remain closed throughout the whole month as they prepare to adjust for the current President, as they do every four years.

EPCOT
Test Track remains closed for its reimagining, but we’re anxiously awaiting its grand reopening later this year! Again, no official date, but we do know to expect it sometime around this summer.

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros has been closed since January, but it reopens on March 15th! We can’t wait to see what changes (if any) were made to the attraction, or if it truly was just a refurbishment.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Kali River Rapids is confusing us just a little bit! This attraction closed for its annual winter refurbishment back in January and currently says it will be back open sometime in March 2025.

However, currently, the Disney World calendar shows it to be closed for the whole month! This is likely due to the fact that there is no reopening date scheduled just yet, but it does make planning your trip a little more difficult.
