Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is changing. Recently, we noticed that the attraction’s hours have been altered towards the end of January and early February.

Disney has not made any official announcements about this subtle change, but it is important to note the new hours so that you don’t miss out on the attraction. The ride will be closing early at least seven days in the coming weeks. Here’s what we know.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is closing at 6 PM on the following dates:
- January 23rd
- January27th
- January28th
- January29th
- February 3rd
- February5th
- February 6th

Additionally, if you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom on January 30th, keep in mind that the park will close EARLY at 4:30 PM. That means you won’t be able to hop in line for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (and all the other rides in the park) after 4:30 PM.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has had a rocky grand opening. When the ride first debuted in 2024, there were a few kinks that still needed to be worked out. These days, the ride still has a somewhat spotty track record regarding closures. There are a TON of moving parts and pieces in this long flume attraction, so there’s a lot of potential for the ride to break down.

Disney has not stated the reason for these upcoming early closures, so it’s unclear if the ride needs extra maintenance or is closing early due to weather or some other cause. In the past, we’ve seen Disney close this ride due to technical difficulties and inclement weather. If you see the ride running without any people in the boats, that means the ride is being tested before it reopens for guests.
Folks…Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is down…AGAIN! We’ve received a push alert saying we should go “enjoy other areas of the park”. ? pic.twitter.com/eQ0MGkDkj9
