Are you ringing in the New Year at Disney World?
New Year’s Eve is practically here, followed by 2025! It’s exciting to begin a new year, and to do it at the Most Magical Place on Earth is a very fun experience. If you’re planning on visiting the parks, specifically Hollywood Studios, in the coming days after the start of the new year, we have some exciting news!
Disney recently announced that a fireworks show would be offered this year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to ring in the new year, along with shows at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. But that’s not the only exciting entertainment news for Hollywood Studios this week!
Fantasmic! is a nighttime show offered at Hollywood Studios. You watch as Mickey battles the evil villains and turns his nightmares into breathtaking, beautiful dreams. Typically this show is offered twice a night at the park, but we spotted two nights this first week of 2025 when it will be offered THREE times!
On January 2nd and 3rd, 2025, Fantasmic! will get a third show at 6:00PM! It will also be offered at 8PM and 9:30PM both of those nights.
Then on January 4th, it goes back to being offered only twice a night at 8PM and 9:30PM.
Since this week brings higher attendance to the park, providing another time for people to catch this fun and popular show may help spread out the crowd. And more crowds are likely at Hollywood Studios. Both January 3rd and 4th have sold out of Park Pass Reservations for ticket holders that need them. While not all guests need park reservations, this along with the addition of the third showtime is a good indicator that this park is going to be BUSY!
Park Pass Reservations for Hollywood Studios are available again for January 4th. If you’re visiting Hollywood Studios January 2nd or 3rd, be sure to catch the show at one of the THREE times available and be ready for lots of people to be there with you! But remember, it goes back to just two showings on January 4th.
