Disney Revealed 5 (!!!) NEW Additions Ahead of Magic Kingdom’s BIG Nighttime Attraction

We can’t wait for a nighttime parade to FINALLY be back in Magic Kingdom soon!

It has been years since Magic Kingdom has had a regular nighttime parade (outside of seasonal parades at separately ticketed events). And if you’ve missed SpectroMagic and the Main Street Electrical Parade as much as we have, then 2025 will be your year — Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime parade Disney Starlight is set to debut in Summer 2025!

The parade was announced at the D23 Disney Parks Panel during D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in California back in August of this year. It will be performed nightly using state-of-the-art technology to tell brand-new stories inspired by popular movies, including Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, and more.

Sounds pretty magical, right? Well, we’re still waiting on more details about this event, but luckily, Disney has shared a LOT of concept art so far. This nighttime attraction will have at least five brand-new additions in the form of stunning light-up parade floats. Now, in true Disney Adult fashion, we’re here to analyze each float and share our biggest predictions!

OK, let’s start with concept art photo number one, featuring the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa.

Looking at the artwork of the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, we immediately have a prediction. Have you ever seen the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom? Can you picture Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather in the parade…

…or maybe the Haunted Mansion bride in the Boo-To-You parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? These ladies seem to float through the Magic Kingdom, and we have a feeling the Blue Fairy could do something similar! We’re picturing a bright, magical fairy who glides from place to place in Disney’s upcoming parade!

OK, moving on to our next piece of concept art, we have just one large Encanto float. This float will feature Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno. The centerpiece of this float is the Miracle Candle, which glows bright and really appears to stand out in the dark. It’s beautiful! It’s hard to say for now what kind of magic Disney will use to create that flame, but we can’t wait to see it in person.

Finally, we have to talk about the NEWEST concept art! This one features Moana standing on her iconic canoe with Pua. Towards the front of the float, we also see a large tail-shaped icon of some kind.
