When considering elite experiences at Disney World, Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort comes to mind for a lot of folks.

If you’re unfamiliar, Victoria & Albert’s is located on the second floor of the Grand Floridian, next to Citricos. Here, you can partake in a 7-course “Tasting Menu” Prix Fixe Menu, which begins at $295 per guest, with wine pairings that begin at $150 or $110 for zero proof per guest. You can also partake in a “Chef’s Table” experience, where you can watch your food being prepared by chef, which starts at $429 per guest with wine pairings start at $210.00 per guest. Zero-proof pairings start at $145.00 per guest. Well, we have a feeling that this elite experience is about to get POPULAR!
Victoria & Albert’s just received its very first MICHELIN Star! Not only ythat, but the 2024 Florida Service Award was given to Maître d’Hôtel Israel Pérez. This is a huge honor, and we’re sending all the congratulatory wishes to the restaurant team.

Disney said, “The culinary team upholding this long beloved and revered legacy is led by Chef de Cuisine Matthew Sowers, with nearly 20 years spent at Victoria & Albert’s and experience assisting in the creation of acclaimed menus for Remy on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Alongside him handling the sweeter side of the kitchen is Pastry Chef Ally Rogers, who leads the entire pastry team for the resort.”

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by MICHELIN for the innovative dining experience our team brings to life here at Victoria & Albert’s,” said Chef Matthew. “Everybody on our team earned this Star, from our stewards to our culinarians to our pastry chefs, and we hope to inspire future generations of culinary professionals to follow their dreams.”

Victoria & Albert’s is the first and only restaurant that’s owned and operated by a theme park to hold a MICHELIN star. Plus, the restaurant also holds the honor of the AAA Five Diamond, consecutively since 2000, and the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star awards, consecutively since 2018. It has also been awarded Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence and Florida Trend Golden Spoon Hall of Fame – American Regional.

Nearby, Capa at Four Seasons Orlando also boasts a 2024 MICHELIN Star. We’ve seen this restaurant on the list before, but if you’re in the area and are looking for an exquisite place to eat, Capa comes highly recommended!

WOW! We are so proud! We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop.
