The Rumors Are True. There Is A Gertie Cookie at Disney World Now, And It’s The Best Thing Ever.

Something is happening for the first time EVER in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

An after-hours holiday party is happening! It’s called Jollywood Nights and we’re at the party LIVE checking out all the party fun, entertainment, food, and more. It’s time to check out what might be our most anticipated snack at Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction.

That’s right — we’re finally going to try the Christmas Gertie Cookie for $4.29, which you’ve probably seen ALL over the Internet. Believe us, we’re as excited about this as you are. This is a sugar cookie with mint icing (and you can even get it with mint soft-serve ice cream for $6.29).

So does the Christmas Gertie Cookie live up to its hype? Well, the cookie itself is soft and sweet just how a proper sugar cookie should be, but the icing also gives it a bit of extra crunch and texture, which we appreciated.

The mint flavor is very subtle, and you would probably like this cookie even if you aren’t the biggest fan of mint.

As far as the mint ice cream goes, it’s a bit much. It gets very close to toothpaste territory as it doesn’t have any chocolate to mellow out that minty flavor. If you LOVE mint, you should definitely grab this. If not, just grab the cookie without the ice cream.
