This SHOCKED Us on the First Night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World

Can you believe it’s already Christmas in Disney World?!

While we still have over a month until Christmas, Disney is starting to celebrate. We’re hanging out at the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of 2023 and want to take you with us! But first, we’ve got to check out those CROWDS.

The first party of the year is a sold-out event, so we’re expecting LOTS of people. When we first got to Magic Kingdom at 4PM (Disney lets you in a couple of hours before the party starts), the lines at the entrance were pretty chaotic.

We noticed a lot of people were taking advantage of this early start time! Honestly, we were a little shocked at all the people waiting to get in this early.

Once we were officially inside the park, there was more room for everyone so the crowds spread out a bit. But it was still fairly crowded.

A good thing to remember though is that regular park guests from earlier in the day are still in the park, so we expect the crowds to still be busy right now. The party officially begins at 7PM, which is when everyone without a party ticket has to leave.

After that, things might slow down and we should see lower wait times and shorter lines throughout the park. We’ll keep you posted as the night goes on.
