The 2 Hotels We Keep Coming Back to in Disney World

If you’re planning a Disney World vacation, you might be overwhelmed by just how many hotel choices there are.

However, if you’re just looking at Disney-owned hotels, you might be missing out on the biggest hotel secret in all of Disney World. That’s because there are two hotels located on Disney World property that are NOT owned by Disney but should still be on your list of hotels you consider staying at.

We’re talking about the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, which are conveniently located and come with a lot of the same perks you’d find at a Disney-owned hotel. Here’s why we keep booking stays at both.

Location

Not only are the Swan and Dolphin Hotels located on Disney World property but they’re also located within walking distance of EPCOT. That also means you’re close to the EPCOT Skyliner station, which connects to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as other Skyliner hotels.

You’ll also be able to take advantage of shopping and dining at other hotels in the area, too, including Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

Dining

The Swan and Dolphin Hotels also offer many of the same amenities as Disney World’s deluxe hotels. As we mentioned, they’re located close to Disney World hotels with great dining, but both hotels have some great restaurant options, too, including Todd English’s bluezoo, Shula’s Steakhouse, Kimonos, and Rosa Mexicano.

These hotels also have their OWN food and wine festival every fall: the Food and Wine Classic.

Amenities

You’ll also get the same free transportation options you’d get at Disney World hotels, including Disney buses, the Skyliner, and boats. Guests staying at the Swan and Dolphin hotels also get Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, just like Disney World hotel guests.

Guests staying at the Swan and Dolphin hotels also get free parking at Disney Parks.

Price

Although your stay at the Swan and Dolphin hotels might be comparable to Disney’s deluxe hotels, the price is generally cheaper than what you would pay for a Disney World deluxe hotel.

However, your stay could be even cheaper if you manage to snag discounts that aren’t typically available for Disney World hotels, like AAA member discounts.

You can earn Marriott Bonvoy Points

The Swan and Dolphin hotels are owned by Marriott, so if you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, you can earn reward points by staying at the Swan and Dolphin hotels.

You can also use Marriott Bonvoy points to book a stay at these two hotels, which could save you even more money.
