We’ve been waiting to celebrate at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
We’ve shown you the merchandise that’s been released, and tons of new snacks you can eat, but now it’s time for some awesome entertainment. Here’s why the beginning of the iconic Boo To You Parade is one you can NEVER miss.
Before the parade technically begins, the mood is set when the Headless Horseman comes riding down the parade route.
Yes, Disney actually has someone, seemingly headless, riding a horse down the parade route in the park. And it’s amazing every time! Almost everyone goes silent as they watch in awe — all you can hear is the spooky music and the trotting horse.

We love how his arrival lets you know that the parade is coming and gets everyone in the mood for the rest of the parade. So if you’re ever thinking you can be a few minutes late to the start of Boo To You, the answer is NO!
It’s incredible to see anywhere in the park, but we particularly love watching him come down Main Street.
