Magic Kingdom may be the smallest of the Disney World parks, but you still walk a LOT during your park day.

Seriously, we mean a LOT. That’s why we say it’s super important to have the right shoes and make sure that everyone in your party is prepared for a day of lots of steps. But there are certain shortcuts to help you avoid crowds and/or cut down your steps, and there’s a NEW one we need to tell you about!
TRON Lightcycle / Run opened this year in Magic Kingdom, and while people have varying opinions on the ride itself, it offered something else to Magic Kingdom that many don’t know about.

There’s now a way you can get from Tomorrowland (near TRON) to Storybook Circus over in New Fantasyland! It’s a pathway that was under construction while the ride was being built but is now fully available to the public.

The path begins around the back of The Barnstormer…

…and you walk past some Disney-placed bushes on your left that block your view of outside of the park…

…and if you keep following the path, you’ll pass into Tomorrowland!

The path spits you out right near the entrance to TRON. This shaves off a pretty good bit of time, especially if you find yourself in the parks on a very crowded day.

We’ve got plenty of other tips to help you manage crowded days in Disney, and are always here to give you the latest news, so stay tuned to AllEars!
