We interrupt your day with extremely important news.
We’re no stranger to updates from Disney World — in fact, it’s kind of our whole thing. Every once in a while, though, something happens — an event so magical, it puts all other Disney World news to shame. And today just so happens to be one of those days.
There’s a new addition in Disney World! A gorgeous Shetland pony was just born at Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and we can’t get over how adorable she is.
According to Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney Animals, Science, & Environment, her white coat means that one day she’ll eventually help pull Cinderella’s Carriage! Right now, she’s in the pasture bonding with her mom, Lady.
If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married at Disney World, this pony could one day be part of your wedding.
Disney’s conservation efforts help new additions like this all throughout the resort. We recently saw two new cotton-top tamarin babies born in Animal Kingdom and they’ve joined their parents on Discovery Island. When they were born, these little dudes only weighed about as much as a chicken egg and were just four inches tall!
Make sure you head over to Tri-Circle-D Ranch to see the new pony and head to Animal Kingdom to see the tamarins!
We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for all things animals and more around Disney World, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.
