If you tried to get reservations for one of the preview dates to see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, chances are you had a rough go of it.
Along with an opening date for the ride, Disney announced special preview dates that would be held to allow invited guests to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom earlier than the June 28th, 2024 opening date. However, if you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, you might run into a few issues.
Disney announced that Disney World Annual Passholder previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take place on June 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th, 2024 — but Monday provided some serious complications.
Passholders were required to make a Magic Kingdom park pass reservation on the date of their choosing just to get a shot at a 7AM or 1PM virtual queue window for the preview.
We say “were” because Magic Kingdom reservations have already been completely filled for each preview day.
We waited over an hour trying to get a reservation on Monday, May 14th, and as of this writing, Magic Kingdom reservations are completely gone for every day of the Annual Passholder previews.
All hope is not lost, however. The 1PM virtual queue simply requires a Disney World park pass reservation to any park, so if you don’t have a reservation yet, you can try to snag one for a different park and park hop over to Magic Kingdom for the 1PM window.
The 7AM virtual queue window is still reserved solely for Annual Passholders with Magic Kingdom reservations.
Another caveat is that Annual Passholders who have hotel reservations during the preview days are still able to book Magic Kingdom reservations.
There seem to be a lot of moving parts regarding this preview in particular, and it’s still possible Disney will add more reservations soon.
