A Popular Character Breakfast Has RETURNED to Disney World!

What is your favorite part about visiting Disney World?

Maybe it’s the rides like Rise of the Resistance or Jungle Cruise, or maybe you go to the parks for the delicious snacks. Some people love exploring and finding hidden details, too. But if characters are a major highlight for you, we’ve got big news!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT has officially brought back breakfast! This is a character dining spot that reopened in November 2022 with just dinner, but now you can have breakfast with the Disney Princesses again!

We checked in on the My Disney Experience app and when it was time for our reservation, we went inside.

Disney had not yet announced if this all-you-care-to-eat meal would be served family-style or in a buffet. We can now confirm that breakfast is served family-style just like dinner here.

First, let’s talk about the food. You’ll start with a plate of cheese, meats, and pastries.

Then it’s onto the main course with heart-shaped Norweigan waffles, potato casserole, eggs, bacon, and sausage.

Now it’s time to talk Princesses! On our visit, there were 5 Princesses rotating around the restaurant. They’ll come right up to your table to say “hello” and take photos! We found Ariel…

At the end, we were given an autograph card with all of the Princesses’ autographs. This has been the norm at other character meals like Chef Mickey’s.

This is a nice way to have all of the character’s autographs in one easy spot.

Breakfast at Akershus is $53 per adult and $34 per child and it is all-you-care-to-eat, so you can have as much food as you want! Lunch is also back as of now for $63 per adult and $41 per child.
