NEW ‘Hocus Pocus’ MagicBand Arrives in Disney World

Spooky season has arrived in Disney World!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2018

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom next week, bringing with it tons of entertainment offerings like the Boo-to-You Halloween parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, and the popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show! When we were in Magic Kingdom today, we spotted a brand new MagicBand celebrating the Hocus Pocus show, let’s take a look!

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show follows the Sanderson Sisters as they attempt to make the Hocus Pocus Party Potion with the help of fellow Disney villains. This show is a fan-favorite Halloween party offering, and we recently spotted a limited edition MagicBand all about it!

The MagicBand is purple and says “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular Magic Kingdom 2022” on one side, with a picture of the Sanderson Sisters.

The other side has a picture of Jack Skellington and says “Frightful Friends Unite.” You’ll also see Zero the ghost dog with Jack.

This MagicBand is a limited edition, so there are only 3,780 of them available for purchase. We found them at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom for $39.99.

If you’re interested in purchasing one, know that this is the traditional MagicBand, not MagicBand+, so it will be able to act as your park ticket, get you into your Disney World hotel room, and do all of the things a regular MagicBand can, but it does not have the interactive capabilities of MagicBand+.
