Disney World's New 50th Anniversary Ears Shimmer AND Light Up!

We’re always on the lookout for new Mickey (and Minnie) Ears to add to our collection!

So many ears!

We’ve spotted a few new ears lately, like a pair inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean and some ultra-expensive ones to add to our dream wishlist. And the latest pair we spotted is eyecatching both in the daylight AND at night!

While visiting the Emporium at Magic Kingdom today, we spotted the new 50th Anniversary Light-Up Mickey Balloon Ears.

As with much of the 50th Anniversary merch, they feature a shimmery, EARidescent color scheme, which can be seen in the ears themselves. Inside the ears are blue Mickey balloons, which each have the 50th Anniversary castle logo in gold.

We also found a dark spot in the park to test out what they look like when they’re lit up! The light coming from inside the ears really makes the EARidescence shimmer.
