Spooky New Magic Shots Have Arrived in Disney World

Disney PhotoPass lenses and Magic Shots can often make an amazing Disney photo even more magical by adding special photo features, like even Tinker Bell’s wings.

Since April is halfway to Halloween, Disney’s been celebrating getting closer to the spooky season with some fun additional offerings both in and out of the parks. Now, two new PhotoPass offerings have just been released in two Disney World parks!

A beloved Magic Kingdom ride has gotten an upgrade on its onboard photos, and the iconic tower in Hollywood Studios now offers a PhotoPass lens that can only be used on Sunset Boulevard in front of the ride.

In Magic Kingdom, more ghost friends will be following you home after your ride on Haunted Mansion, as the new onboard photos feature a different ghost each time you ride. To get this photo, have your phone’s Bluetooth on during the ride (but keep low power mode off), or wear a MagicBand that has been previously connected to your Disney account.

In Hollywood Studios, head down Sunset Boulevard towards the screams from the Tower of Terror and, if you have Disney Genie+ that day, use the new PhotoPass lens in the My Disney Experience app to feel like you’ve traveled back in time to that fateful Halloween night.
