VIDEO: Take a Look INSIDE the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster in Disney World

Ever since Disney announced that their newest EPCOT ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, would open in summer 2022, we’ve been watching all the construction progress with excitement.

Do you see it?

Because Cosmic Rewind is an indoor ride, we’ve been mostly observing the construction progress on the outside, like the “landing” of the Nova Corps Starblaster Ship. We’ve even seen the queue being worked on! And while we’ve had some inside looks at the ride, we haven’t quite seen it quite like this.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be a groundbreaking ride with features we’ve never really seen before, including being the first reverse-launch Disney coaster ever. It will also be one of the longest indoor roller coasters in the world!

One of the most unique aspects of the ride will be the omnicoaster vehicles, which spin 360 degrees so that guests can observe the story of the ride. These vehicles are not so different from omnimovers, which are the vehicles you’ll find on rides like Haunted Mansion.

Today, Walt Disney Imagineer Liz posted an inside look at the load stations, where Cast Members are testing the ride system! We get a pretty good look at the ride in action, as well as what it’s going to look like for guests boarding the ride.

We can’t WAIT to ride Cosmic Rewind, and we’re watching closely for an official opening date announcement from Disney! Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney World news!
