Disneyland’s turning the big 7-0, and the celebration is in full swing!

From limited-time treats to dazzling entertainment, the park is pulling out all the stops to honor seven decades of dreams, pixie dust, and unforgettable memories. And now, the brand-new World of Color Happiness is taking center stage at Disney California Adventure. Here’s all you need to know.
Created just for the 70th anniversary, this limited-time version of World of Color promises all the feels: nostalgia, joy, maybe a tear or two, and definitely a few “OMG!” moments. Think dazzling fountains, iconic music, fan-favorite characters, and surprise visuals that celebrate everything we love about Disneyland—past, present, and future.

World of Color Happiness! isn’t just a show, it’s a full-blown emotional rollercoaster (the joyful kind, of course)! This all-new nighttime spectacular dives into the meaning of happiness through a kaleidoscope of color, music, and magic.

Guiding the journey are Joy and her crew of emotions from Inside Out and Inside Out 2, inviting guests to laugh, sing, dance, and experience happiness in all its forms. From silly giggles to heartwarming moments, each scene adds a splash of emotion to the mix.

As the story unfolds, Paradise Bay transforms into a living canvas—bursting with towering fountains, glowing lasers, dreamy fog, flickering flames, and lighting that dances to the beat. It’s pure Disney enchantment, with every splash and sparkle celebrating the joy that’s been 70 years in the making.

The girls from Turning Red also made an appearance, huddled together.

Even without character projections, we were blown away by how good the colors looked on the water features.

You know they had to bring all the colors for World of Color, of course. World of Color has been a part of Disneyland for a long time, and we’re glad it’s here to celebrate the 70th.

The show is filled with so much movement, colors, characters, music, and magic.
One part we were obsessed with was The Muppets opening the show!

They gave the safety speil in true Muppet fashion. Kermit and Joe the Legal Weasel were there.

Miss Piggy was there, making sure it was all about her.

Scooter was working hard to make sure everyone was listening to the very important announcements.

Sam Eagle had to make an appearance because what’s a safety spiel without him?

We’re so looking forward to all the incredible experiences happening around Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, so stay tuned to us here on AllEars for more!
