A Chilly Weekend Can Have Some Unexpected Effects in Disney World!

It’s been a CHILLY weekend in Disney World!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The colder weather can definitely have an impact on the way things look around the Disney World parks. Some of the effects of a chilly day may seem a little more obvious, like water park closures or shorter overall wait times as the low temperatures keep people inside. But there are also a few more under-the-radar impacts of a cold day in Disney World!

We headed out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today to see what was happening on this chilly morning. The low temperature of 37 degrees seems to have kept the wait times around the park pretty low, and even attractions with typically long waits like Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster have shorter lines than usual.

Another super popular attraction, Tower of Terror, was only listed as a 30-minute wait when we stopped by.

In fact, the line for the coffee cart around the corner stretched back farther than the line for the actual attraction!

We also noticed that the heaters in the line for Rosie’s All-American Cafe were turned on to help keep guests warm while waiting for their food.

But if you are willing to brave the cold weather, there can be another benefit to chilly days in Disney World, in addition to the short lines. You may have the chance to snap some awesome pictures with fewer guests in your shots!
