Disney World Honors Former Park President With A Window On Main Street, U.S.A.

In case you’ve never noticed it, many of the windows on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom are dedicated to actual people.

This is how Disney honors those Cast Members who have helped shape what has become the Disney World we know and love today. As you can imagine, it’s rare when a Cast Member gets a window on Main Street, but today is one of those rare days because a new window has appeared here!

This morning, Disney honored Cast Member George A. Kalogridis with a window on Main Street, U.S.A. Kalogridis is a former president of Disney World and the current president of Disney Segment Development and Enrichment for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. He is also the Global Ambassador for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

We visited the new window this morning (you can find it on the Chamber of Commerce building on Main Street, U.S.A.), and marveled at how beautiful it is.

The top of the window is an introduction from the Main Street Chamber of Commerce…

…while the bottom names Kalogridis as the Ambassador of Main Street. Now that’s quite an honor!
