Marvel has been hitting a stride in its next phase recently with a focus on new shows like Loki and What If…?, as well as hit films coming to the big screen with the debut of Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Now with awards season beginning, Marvel has had a few opportunities to make a name for itself in the newer realm of television. And, it looks like all that hard work has paid off!

The Creative Arts Emmys are taking place this weekend, and Disney has already taken home 10 awards total! And, Deadline has shared that this past weekend, Marvel Studios received its very first set of Emmy Awards ever for WandaVision! The Disney+ original miniseries won for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour) and Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes. 

The first award was represented by Production Designer Mark Worthington, Art Director Sharon Davis and Set Decorator Kathy Orlando, while the second award was accepted by Costume Designer Mayes C. Rubeo, Assistant Costume Designer Joseph Feltus, Assistant Costume Designer Daniel Selon, and Costume Supervisor Virginia Burton.

However, WandaVision is up for more awards this upcoming weekend as the show received 23 Emmy nominations earlier this year. The remaining categories that WandaVision is nominated for include Outstanding Limited Or Anthology Series, Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie (Elizabeth Olsen), Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie (Paul Bettany), Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie (Kathryn Hahn), Directing For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie, Writing For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie, Original Main Title Theme Music, Original Music And Lyrics, Music Composition For A Limited Or Anthology Series, Movie Or Special (Original Dramatic Score), Music Supervision, Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie, and Casting For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie.
