Gird Your Loins! ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Hits Disney+ Next Month

The Devil Wears Prada 2 came out in theaters on May 1st, 20 years after the original The Devil Wears Prada premiered in 2006. The groundbreaking sequel has grossed $677 million at the worldwide box office so far.

So it shouldn’t be a surprise that the blockbuster film will hit the small screen soon. That’s right, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be streaming on Disney+ and Hulu this summer!

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be available to stream on both Disney+ and Hulu starting Wednesday, July 29th. In this sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) returns as Runway Magazine’s features editor. Fellow former assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) is now a high-powered executive at Dior, who controls the advertising money that Runway needs after a scandal.

In addition to Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt, many actors have reprised their roles for the sequel, including Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman. Newcomers include Kenneth Branagh, Patrick Brammall, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, and Pauline Chalamet.

Celebrity cameos include Ashley Graham, Donatella Versace, Lady Gaga, Kara Swisher, Jenna Bush Hager, Paige DeSorbo, Hannah Berner, and Tina Brown. David Frankel, who directed the 2006 film, and Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote the original screenplay, returned for the sequel along with producer Wendy Finerman.
