Reserve Your Spot NOW for the Best Way to Watch Fireworks in Disney World

Is there anything more magical than ending your Disney World day with a nighttime fireworks show above the Cinderella Castle?

Fireworks in Magic Kingdom

One great way to do this without crowds of people around you is by watching from a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon. And to make it even better, you could add dessert into the mix! Starting soon, you’ll be able to sail on the Ferrytale Desserts and Fireworks Cruise.

Private fireworks cruises returned to Disney World when the firework shows started up again this July. Starting on September 18th of this year, you can take your cruise to the next level with the returning Ferrytale Desserts and Fireworks Cruise! Reservations are open now, so make sure you secure your spot soon.

Happily Ever After Fireworks

On this cruise, your Ferrytale captain will sail you around the Seven Seas Lagoon in front of the Magic Kingdom, sharing stories about the park. There will be a selection of and specialty drinks on board (both with and without alcohol), which are included in the cost of the cruise.

Ferrytale Wishes Dessert Cruise

Speaking of cost, the trip will be $99 for adults and $69 for kids aged 3 to 9. This covers the cruise, treats and drinks, and a couple of other experiences like and ultraviolet scavenger hunt for the kids and “Mickey Vision” glasses that will “transform your [fireworks] viewing experience in the most delightful way.”

Fireworks are back!

While the cruise can be pretty pricey if you’re traveling with a big group, it’s also probably the most chill way to watch the fireworks — your seat is reserved, and the snacks are just waiting for you!

  1. I called Disney Reservations and talked to several people. They said the only boat you could get to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon would cost $399. The boat would hold up to 10 people. When I told them of the price that was on this site ($99 for adults) they said that was wrong and told me again about the $399 boat. Somebody is not telling the truth.

    1. Hi Andy! There are two different experiences — the private chartered boat is $399 (and is currently available to book), while the Ferrytale Wishes Dessert Cruise is a different experience that will be returning September 18th. This one takes place on a ferry boat with other guests, similar to a dessert party (just on board a boat!).

      1. When I was talking to Disney, I explained the difference to them. They continued to tell me there was no cruise on the Seven Seas lagoon for the price you state, just the $399 boat rental. I may try later and see if they have new information.

        1. They CURRENTLY do not have any cruises available at the $99 price point but will have them come September 18 as the article states

  2. I highly recommend the Ferrytales fireworks cruise for adults – it can be a very romantic way to top off the evening with no crowds. The snacks and desserts are very good, and the beverages are good (and bottomless)! Although you can’t see the castle (and main street) projections, it was fun to be on a boat cruising around.
