Hotels, restaurants, experiences, and more are returning to the Disney parks.

Earlier this month, reservations opened for the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure, which is an immersive experience with the Disney princesses that guests can take part in as they enjoy a three-course meal at the Napa Rose Restaurant in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. The breakfast adventure officially opened in Disneyland today, and we were there to see what’s changed about this royal dining experience.
When we got to the Grand Californian Hotel, we entered through the lobby…

…and headed over to Napa Rose restaurant.

There was a sign letting us know we were in the right place for the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure!

We were directed to the lounge area…

…where we could relax and enjoy a little bit of live music as we waited for our turn to meet some Disney princesses.

The princesses remained socially distanced, but you could still chat with them and take pictures!

When we were there, Princess Aurora and Princess Jasmine were out greeting guests, but this could change throughout the day.

After we spoke with the princesses, we headed back into the lounge and waited to be brought to the dining area.

You could see the princess theme in little details like the napkins being folded into a rose in our teacups!

The breakfast came with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and there were plenty of options to choose from!

You can also ask for it as a mimosa, which is what we decided on for our drink.

The meal has three courses: appetizers, entrées, and desserts. The appetizers and desserts are brought to your table, and the entrees are served in a buffet. First, the appetizers came on a three-tiered serving platter. We enjoyed some Brûléed Banana Slices wrapped in Chocolate Nutella Crêpes…

…an Open-faced Ham and Cheese Sandwich…

…and a Lobster Roll on a Butter Brioche Bun.

There was also Coconut Chia Pudding…

…and beignets.

Our sever also brought out a basket of pastries for the appetizer course.

All those tasty appetizers were practically a meal by themselves! But we were happy to head up to check out the entrées being served at the buffet for our second course. A few other buffets have returned to the park, and like those, this one was self-serve. We had thick-cut Bacon and Sausage with Pineapple bits for a tangy flavor.

There were Scrambled Eggs as well…

…and Asparagus with Tomatoes so we can feel at least a little healthy. 😉

Speaking of eating healthy, we found some fresh Fruit Skewers…

…along with Fresh Blueberries!

The Braised Short Rib was back in the buffet…

…along with the Barbecue Beef Sliders on Hawaiian buns.

This next dish is what we were most excited for, though: Chicken and Mickey Waffles!

This course also came with French Fries.

On the side, the fries had Red Pepper Romesco Sauce and Ketchup dips.

Dessert was next, which our server brought to our table. There were several small desserts, each with its own princess theme! The Peanut Butter Mousse was Pocahontas themed, with a chocolate feather on top.

There was a Firecracker Strawberry Sorbet with pop rocks on top for Mulan, a Shell-Shaped Mango Macaron for Ariel, a Raspberry Tart for Belle, and Brownie Cake Pops for Belle and Aurora!

On our way out, we said hello to more Disney princesses! Ariel was meeting with guests…

…and you could join the story time with Belle.

We were given a couple of souvenirs to take home, including a drawstring bag with “Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure” on the front.

We also got a souvenir card with signatures from the Disney princesses on it!

You can book your reservations at the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure in Napa Lounge at the Grand Californian Hotel now. It costs $125 per person (for both adults and kids), and includes the princess meet and greets, three-course meal, and take-home souvenirs.
