We just got a HUGE amount of information on Disney’s new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel!

We’ve finally got details on the cost of the experience, the itinerary for the voyage, and what we should plan for, pack, wear, and expect. There are some important things we learned today that we didn’t know before, and we’re breaking down that list!
There’s No Swimming Pool
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will not have a swimming pool available to guests during their visit. Throughout your 2-day voyage, you’ll be onboard the ship in space, so going outside to swim would break the illusion.

The Rooms Will Have TVs
One of the big questions we had before today is whether or not the rooms would have TVs — now we know that they will! Disney shared that the TVs will have “entertainment from your home planet,” so you may even be able to watch some of your favorites!

All Parking Will Be Valet
In the pricing information, Disney noted that valet parking is included with your stay. We’ve already seen the concept art of the arrival area, so it looks like we’ll be grabbing our luggage and heading straight inside!

Your Hollywood Studios Park Ticket is Included
Also included in the cost of your stay is a one-day ticket to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ll be able to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on the morning of your second day, and there are some exciting activities scheduled while on the planet of Batuu!

You Won’t Need a Park Pass Reservation
And speaking of your visit to Galaxy’s Edge, you won’t need to make a park reservation in order to stop by. That makes planning a lot easier!

You’ll Get to Experience Some of the Most Popular Rides
During your morning visit to Batuu, you’ll have the chance to ride both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance (without a boarding group!). That’s VIP access, right there!

You Must Arrive Before 4PM
All guests should plan to arrive by 4PM on the day that their voyage starts, although you may arrive as early as 1PM. Only guests with a reservation to stay at the hotel may visit the terminal or board the Starcruiser.

You Can Wear Whatever You Like
During your voyage, guests are welcome to wear whatever clothing they’re comfortable in. You’re invited to dress up in Star Wars galaxy attire or to dress down in casual apparel from your home planet — whatever works for you. And don’t forget to wear your best and show off during the Outer Rim Regalia show!

You Must Stay 2 Nights
If you’d like to stay at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, you must book a trip length of 2 nights. Stays cannot be extended or shortened at this particular hotel. Disney does, however, encourage guests to extend their vacation by booking another Disney World Resort before or after their voyage.

You May Be Seated With Other Guests At Dinner
Similar to the way a cruise ship works, you will select a dining time in the evening. While at dinner, you may be seated at a table with other guests, depending on the size of your party.

There’s An Age Restriction for Lightsaber Training
One of the most interesting activities onboard the Halcyon is the lightsaber training! Disney shared today that guests must be at least 7 years of age to participate in this exciting opportunity.

The Ship is Going to Be VERY Exclusive
On the Galactic Starcruiser website, it notes that the Halcyon is home to 100 guest rooms. That means that the experience is going to be very exclusive, as only a few hundred people will be on board at a time.

Sample Pricing Has Been Revealed
Disney also shared some sample pricing information today for voyages in fall 2022. With these numbers, a stay at Galactic Starcruiser will cost $4809 for two guests, $5299 for three guests, or $5999 for four guests.

There’s a Gala At The End of the Cruise
What better way to end your stay than with a big party? At the end of the second day, you’ll get to experience what Disney calls the “spectacular finale.”
