5 BIG Closures You Need to Know About Next Week in Disney World

Sometimes, construction will take place in Disney World, closing down rides, shops, or hotels.

Hall of Presidents

Here at AllEars, we keep you posted on all those closures! So today, we’re bringing you a refurbishment update on all the attractions that will be unavailable from June 14th-20th, 2021.

Walt Disney World Railroad

After over 2 years, the Walt Disney World Railroad is still closed. Construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run is interfering with the train’s route, causing this extended closure.

Now, that TRON construction is reportedly delayed, so we likely have a while to wait before we can ride on the Railroad again. We’ll be sure to let you know once we have an update from Disney about its reopening!

The Hall of Presidents

Over in Liberty Square, the Hall of Presidents has been closed since January! Disney is currently installing an audio-animatronic for President Joe Biden. This process happens every time a new president is elected.

And towards the front of the park, Main Street Confectionery is closed for a pretty extensive refurb! Disney has not yet announced a reopening date, but we’re expecting the construction to last well into the summer at the least.

While you wait for this classic shop’s reopening, you can snag plenty of candy from Main Street Cinema! They’re selling the Confectionery’s stash throughout the closure.
