Disney World reopened a number of months ago, and slowly more services, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other things around the resort have become available.

But, one thing that hasn’t been available for a while is Club Level service at Disney World’s hotels. Soon, however, that will all be changing!!
Recently, Disney shared some new information about Club Level rooms and lounges with travel agents. According to Disney’s message, Club Level Lounges at select Disney World Resort hotels will soon be reopening. Sales for Club Level rooms and suites began for select locations on June 4th.

Disney initially shared the following phased reopening plan for Club Level Service:
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — Royal Palm Club — September 16th, 2021
- Disney’s BoardWalk Resort — September 23rd, 2021
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort — September 26th, 2021
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge — December 16th, 2021
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort — December 16th, 2021
The Disney World website has since been updated to include a reopening date for the Club Level lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge as well.

According to the initial notice sent to travel agents, the Club Level Lounges will follow physical distancing and face mask requirements. Note that physical distancing requirements have been changing in Disney World, and masks are currently required to be worn indoors by all guests, regardless of vaccination status. The lounges will also offer exclusive food and beverage options throughout the day as well as more personalized experiences for guests.
The Club Level lounges at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort are expected to reopen at a later date.

So, if you’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of Club Level rooms and Club Level Lounges, it sounds like both will soon become available!
We’ll keep an eye out for more details and we’ll let you know what we find. Stay tuned for more updates.

Trying to figure out why they still require masks. I recvd an email from Orange County mayors office that said covid mandates had been lifted. Mask should be optional not mandatory. If people are that afraid they should stay home and out of crowds. It is time for Disney to end their mask requirements and move them to optional. No we will not book a room until masks are lifted. we want to, we want to visit but the masks ruin the disney experience. Its not California, it is Florida.
Am I the only person surprised how late these are scheduled to come back? I mean I don’t understand why these bookings, which would seem to be very profitable to Disney, aren’t able to easily come back during the summer. Is this a sign that staffing up is perhaps bottle necking the ability of WDW to be able to “return to normal” as quick as maybe we hoped and expected? I guess we haven’t seen any signs yet that Disney has accelerated its reopening from the pace we had back in April. No new announcements of resorts reopening sooner or additional resorts added to the schedule. Some reopened resorts still don’t have their restaurants reopened either.
I’ve never stayed in a Club level resort so there could be something I’m missing, but this would seem to be one of the easiest services to bring back. Am I the only one surprised these bookings won’t be available until September? Does this mean maybe FastPass and Disney Dining won’t be on the menu for 2021 or at least not until Fall at the earliest? I’m glad that we can safe drop the masks and the plexiglass, but I’m a little surprised we’re still looking at several resorts being closed and even booking in resorts that are open are off the table at least until the fall.
