It's Hard to Miss the Construction at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Disney is constantly updating and improving things around the parks and resorts.

From full-scale changes to minor technical improvements, the Disney World refurbishment schedule stays pretty busy. One major update happening right now is the rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and today, we’ve got some photos to share!

As the rooms in the main tower get a refresh, Disney had to find a way to hide the construction from guest view. The solution? These massive tan tarps!

The hallways are completely covered!

We’d already seen them covering a large portion of the interior of the hotel, but now they’re blocking off all the levels on each side. You can’t miss them, even if you’re just riding through on the Monorail.

You definitely won’t miss this!

We don’t have any word yet on when this construction will end or when the freshly updated rooms will be available to book, but we’ll make sure to pass on the information as soon as we know.

These things are everywhere!

For now, just note that things will look pretty different at the Contemporary (especially in the Grand Canyon Concourse/4th floor), and it’ll likely be louder than you’re used to.
