You may have noticed that there’s a lot of changes going on around Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Most of the hotel is currently closed for its Moana-themed refurbishment!Â
While the refurb is still underway at the main part of the resort, one outdoor area has reopened again.
Back in January, we found out that the Kiki Tikis Splash Play Area would be closing for a brief refurb. While it’s a little later than initially announced, it looks like Kiki Tikis is back open!
While we didn’t see that anything huge had changed, the area overall looked like it had a fresh touch put on it, and a few kids were splashing around during our visit.
When we checked the Disney website, it didn’t mention that the area had reopened yet. But, if you’re planning to visit the Lava Pool soon, you’ll see the play area open. We can’t wait to see the big changes coming to the Polynesian Resort in person later this year!
