Though the vast majority of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is closed right now due to Moana-themed refurbishment, the Disney Vacation Club area, also known as the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, is open!
Due to the resort’s major overhaul, monorail service has temporarily been suspended, and now ANOTHER spot at this Magic Kingdom-area resort is closing down for refurb.
The Kiki Tikis Splash Play Area will be closed from February through March, according to the resort’s page on Disney World’s official website.
While we don’t know what this refurb is going to look like, we’re sure this kid-friendly area (and slide!) will get some magical Disney touches.
So, where can you take a dip in the pool while staying at the Poly? Luckily, the Lava Pool (and it’s slide!) and the Oasis Pool are open for all that fun in the sun!
There is a LOT of work being done at the Polynesian right now, and as more work pops up and when these refurbs are done, we’ll let you know how everything looks!
