Ever since the parks reopened, we’ve really been missing fireworks shows!

Thankfully, Disney is currently preparing for a new nighttime spectacular in EPCOT called Harmonious. We’ve seen several set pieces for the show move into place on World Showcase Lagoon and even though we don’t know when it’s going to premiere, we’re getting pretty excited. And as of today, all of the big barges are now in place!

Today, the last barge moved into place out in the middle of World Showcase, which means that we’re one step closer to seeing this new show. This one looks the same as the other platforms surrounding the large ring centerpiece.

We’re getting closer!

If you take a look at the concept art, you’ll notice that each of the sides of the four smaller barges will be used as screens. We’re definitely ready to see this new technology in action!

  1. Was just at WDW. We saw them testing the water spray from one of the barges. The show may wind up being lovely at night, but the barges are pretty ugly to look at during the day. Looking across the lagoon, they take a great deal away from the view. I think, if I am not mistaken, the barges for the previous show were moved into place at the end of the day. If these barges are to remain in place 24/7, it will make the lagoon look.like an industrial park.

    1. Yeah, I agree. The view looks pretty low on the ambiance scale if those barges will be there during the day. They used to move them out later closer to show time.
