On those super busy Disney World days (if you’ve visited during a busy season you’ll know what we’re talking about!), it might feel impossible to grab a last minute dining reservation. While it’s usually a good idea to make those ADR’s as soon as you’re able to, vacation itineraries almost always change and you may find yourself needing to adjust your dining plans!

That’s why we wanted to fill you in a on a little #FiddleFaddle tip today on how to snag a same-day dining reservation, even when the parks are crowded!
Keep in mind that this will not guarantee securing a last-minute dining reservation, but it definitely helps! Today while we were checking for dining reservations on My Disney Experience, we noticed that there wasn’t a ton of availability.

However, we refreshed the app and toggled back and forth between reservation times at the top of the screen, and more reservations appeared!

Soon enough, we had a wide variety of dining options to choose from, including popular restaurants like Hollywood Brown Derby and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater! Keep in mind that this was for a day when the parks were busy with a capital “B.”

We changed our party size as well to see if this strategy would work for families, and sure enough, it works with larger parties, too! If you’re in the parks on a busy day and you want to see if you can find a last minute dining reservation, just play around on My Disney Experience and you might find a time!
If all else fails and you don’t get that last-minute reservation you want, you can also check to see if the restaurant still has Walk-Up Wait list availability!
