The Swiss Family Treehouse is a hidden gem at the Magic Kingdom; a quiet walk through the world of a classic novel.

However, fans of this classic walkthrough attraction will be disappointed to hear that the Treehouse will be going down for refurbishment in late April… though not for long, it seems.
The Treehouse appears it will be closed from April 27 through May 3, so for roughly a week. Don’t expect any world-shattering Tarzan revamps here (we’re lookin’ at your, Disneyland); it’s a routine refresh to make sure the Robinson’s quarters are as safe and pleasant as possible.

The Swiss Family Treehouse isn’t exactly an E-Ticket, so this closure won’t affect as many vacations as the refurbishment of Splash Mountain through January. However, it is a popular cool down spot for guests looking to escape the crowds, especially for guests on the autistic spectrum. We recommend looking into alternative rest areas before your trip if you were planning on using the Treehouse for a quick break.
If you’re curious about other refurbishments that might disrupt your vacation plans, keep an eye on our Closures and Refurbishment Calendar.  We scour operating hours and park news to keep track of the latest ride closures and updates, so you’ll never show up to the park only to find a Dream Builders wall surrounding your favorite attraction.
