Why Disney World Will Be CROWDED Next Month!

The Fourth of July is coming soon, and that means it’s time to find out exactly what Disney World is doing to celebrate this year.

This Fourth of July also marks America’s 250th anniversary this year, so we knew that Disney would have some fun planned for guests. Let’s dive into everything you can expect this year!

One of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations is already open. Soarin’ Across America opened in late May and is an updated version of Soarin’ that takes you coast to coast, showing you all the natural beauty of America.

You can also grab a special S’morin Across America Milk Shake at Sunshine Seasons.

Now, on the Fourth itself, there is tons of fun to be had all over Disney World. First, you can expect to see fun and patriotic red, white, and blue lights on Spaceship Earth.

Then special performances by the Voices of Liberty and the Electrical Water Pageant. Voices of Liberty will offer a special echo performance on the 4th of July (just as they do on other select holidays — like Labor Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day, Flag Day, and Memorial Day).

There will also be fun decor on Main Street, U.S.A (which you can already spot!).

And keep an eye out for special character experiences — we typically see Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy in some special 4th of July-themed garb over at EPCOT’s American Adventure pavilion on the 4th of July.

Plus, there are limited-time food offerings all around Disney World.

And of course, the perfect way to end your Disney Fourth of July celebrations is with special fireworks shows at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. In Magic Kingdom, you can check out Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th at 9 PM.  Be warned, this show is seriously popular!

And at EPCOT, you can catch the “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks tag added onto Luminous The Symphony of Us. Luminous starts at 9 PM, and the Heartbeat of Freedom starts at 9:15 PM. It’ll be available on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
