Toy Story Characters Are Coming To a Magic Kingdom Restaurant!

2026 just started, and Disney World is already keeping us on our toes! We finally got new details on Disney’s free water park hotel perk, and construction is changing the landscape of the parks.

Magic Kingdom is changing quite a bit thanks to updates, expansions, and more this year. To help ease the pain of the changes, Disney has announced that some fan favorite characters will appear in the park this summer!

Calling all Toy Story fans! This summer might be the best yet in Magic Kingdom. Cool Kid Summer is returning in 2026, and that means tons of special summer activities. One of those activities? Jessie’s Roundup at Magic Kingdom’s Diamond Horseshoe.

At Jessie’s Roundup, you can find a “rootin’ tootin’ good time” at the restaurant. You can meet characters like Jessie, Woody, and friends for some “energetic fun.”

At Jessie’s Revue, you can craft, dance, and “yodel your hearts out” with the characters! The restaurant typically serves the same menu as Liberty Tree Tavern, right next door. After talking to a Cast Member, they confirmed that the restaurant is still expected to offer a meal or to be a dinner show, similar to events they’ve hosted in the past. They also confirmed that the meal will be similar to what the Diamond Horseshoe already serves, including items like turkey, pot roast, and more.

This is a brand-new offering to Cool Kids Summer, and it feels similar to Goofy’s Party at CommuniCore Hall from last year. Cool Kid Summer is returning from May 26th to September 8, 2026, so that’s when you can expect to say hi to Jessie and Woody in Frontierland.

Cool Kid Summer will also include the arrival of Bluey and Bingo in Animal Kingdom, GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, and more! This event makes the parks feel so alive and gives us so much to look forward to.
