Parking in Disney World can be more complicated than you originally anticipated, but that’s why we’re here to help!

There are a few different types of parking you can get in Disney World parks — you’ve got regular parking that usually costs around $30, Handicapped parking for those eligible is also around $30, or you can select Premium parking for around $45-$55. If you’re headed into EPCOT and want to get from the parking lot to the park gates ASAP, here are some shortcuts you won’t want to miss!
Don’t Follow The Crowd
When you park your car, you’ll likely be able to see Spaceship Earth (aka the massive golf ball) no matter where you’re parked. Sometimes you’ll notice that the mass of people is all heading one way, such as all the way down the row you’re in to head towards the entrance. We’re here to tell you to NOT follow the crowd!

If you’re at the end of a parking lane and it’s safe for you to walk down the other side of the parking lot rows towards Spaceship Earth, you’re heading in the right direction. At the end of the day, it comes down to this: just head towards the the ball! You’ll get where you need to go, and might save some steps in the process!
Pay Attention To Your Path
There are about three different walking paths from the EPCOT parking lot into the park, which means that it’s easy to get confused when you’re heading back to your car at the end of the night.

Pay close attention to whatever path you walk to get to the park, and even better, put your parking location into the My Disney Experience App to avoid getting lost at the end of the day. When your feet are already tired and all you want to do is sit down in your car, the last thing you want is to backtrack and spend an extra half hour searching for your car.
The Parking Tram Isn’t Always Fastest
While the parking tram is a great way to save yourself some extra steps, sometimes it’s not the fastest way to get into the park. This is especially true if it’s the beginning or end of the park day and tram lines are packed, but walking is also the best move if you’re parked in front of the treeline.

This means if you’re parked in HeiHei, Moana, or Wall-E, it’ll very likely be faster for you to walk to and from your car rather than wait for a tram. However, if your feet are killing you or you have mobility concerns, then always do what’s most comfortable for you!

We know these aren’t your typical shortcuts, but trust us, we’ve tried them all, and they can save you precious minutes when you’re heading into the park!
