Sometimes, special events are happening in Disney World and you may not even know it!
You may encounter a behind-the-scenes look at a TV special, spot a celebrity on vacation, or even perform in the parks! On February 1st, there was a special event happening with none other than Tamron Hall, and we got to be there to see it all happen!
February 1st is the first day of Black History Month, and Disney World is hosting its annual Celebrate Soulfully event again this year. As part of the event, the Magic Kingdom does a little something special. We got to see an EXCLUSIVE one-day-only event: a parade led by a celebrity. This year, the special parade was led by Tamron Hall, an American Broadcast Journalist who hosts her own show and has won two Daytime Emmy awards! Our first glimpse of Tamron Hall was during the parade — Hall and her family were the Grand Marshals for the Festival of Fantasy. What an amazing experience!
After she led the parade, Hall and her family were given a special spot on the hub grass to watch the parade and participate in an interview. So, of course, we brought our questions and had a little Disney chat!
Hall told us all about what Disney World means to her. To sum it up, it was MAGICAL!

Hall talked about her old Disney vacation memories, running through a Florida rainstorm (relatable), trying to catch the parade, and watching her family grow up. She said, “I was very emotional in a way that I didn’t expect.” Celebrities — they’re just like us!
